Every job is different. A weekend cleanout has different needs than a months-long construction project, and we size our service accordingly. Whether you're a homeowner clearing out years of accumulated stuff or a contractor running a busy site, there's a container size and rental period that fits what you're doing.
We keep things straightforward: clear pricing upfront, delivery windows we actually stick to, and staff who are easy to reach when you have questions. No surprises on the back end.
The rental process is pretty simple once you know what to expect. Whether you're pulling apart a bathroom, cleaning out a storage unit, or running a full construction project, getting the right container size and understanding a few ground rules goes a long way toward keeping things on track.
Size selection comes down to volume, not just the type of project. A 10-yard bin covers single-room work or light yard cleanups. The 20-yard is the sweet spot for most residential renovations. If you're gutting multiple rooms or working on a larger structure, the 30-yard handles that volume comfortably. Full demolitions and large commercial jobs tend to need a 40-yard container. When you're not sure, going slightly larger saves you the cost of a second haul.
General construction debris, household furniture, yard waste, lumber, drywall, roofing shingles, and most appliances (minus anything containing Freon) are all accepted. What can't go in: paint, solvents, motor oil, batteries, tires, and other materials classified as hazardous. If you're unsure about a specific item, just call us before tossing it in.
Set aside a spot roughly 60 feet long and 10 feet wide on a flat surface, ideally a driveway or parking pad. Move vehicles and anything else that blocks access before the driver arrives. If the container needs to sit on a public street, check with the city about permit requirements. Our drivers are used to working in tight spots, but a clear drop zone makes the whole thing faster.
Put the heaviest materials in first so they sit at the bottom. Flatten and break down bulky items to get more out of the available space. Fill to the top edge of the container but not above it. Overfilled containers can't be transported legally or safely. Walk heavy pieces through the swing door rather than tossing them over the side wall to avoid injury.
It depends on current availability and your location. In many cases we can arrange next-day delivery. Call us and we'll give you the most accurate timeframe we can.
The 20-yard container is a reliable choice for most home renovation jobs. Single-room projects can often get by with a 10-yard. If you're tackling the whole house, a 30-yard gives you the room you need.
Placing the container on your own driveway or property generally doesn't require a permit. If it has to sit on a public street or sidewalk, you'll want to check with the city about local permit rules.
Standard rentals run 7 days, but we're flexible. If your project runs longer, we have extended rental options available at daily, weekly, and monthly rates.
Hazardous materials can't go in, including paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, and appliances with Freon. Give us a call if you're not sure about a specific item and we'll point you toward the right disposal option.
